Global Aging Research Fellowship in Costa Rica
October 02, 2024The Alicia and Yaya Initiative in Global Aging Research is opening applications for its Fellowship Program to Costa Rica on Oct. 15.
All current UMB or University of Costa Rica (UCR) faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students are eligible to apply. Fellows will conduct research or participate in an individualized program related to aging research at the partner institution on any element of aging, such as medical research, legal issues, social work, or nutrition.
A stipend covers the full cost of lodging and travel, and can be used for registration in UMB graduate school courses, participation in and travel to scholarly conferences, etc.
Fellows will spend between two weeks and six months at the partner institution, with preference given to longer stays. The timing and length of the fellowship is flexible.
