Join us at noon Nov. 7 for a "Grand Rounds Presentation: Traumatic Brain Injury as a Neuropsychiatric Paradigm" at the SMC Campus Center, Room 208.

Presenter: Vassilis E. Koliatsos, MD, MBA, DLFAPA, professor, Pathology (Neuropathology), Neurology, and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine 

Learning Objectives:  

1. To appreciate the clinical and scientific advantages of the neuropsychiatric approach to medicine.

2. To outline the main neuropathological types of traumatic brain injury and describe two or three difficulties in establishing clinicopathological correlations.

3. To discuss the differential diagnosis between organic versus idiopathic changes in mood and behavior in patients with histories of traumatic brain injury.

In-person attendance is preferred. Lunch will be served.
