LTRS are an opportunity for UMSSW's research community to hear from a variety of experts on their research areas and methods. LTRS are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 12:15-1:45pm unless otherwise specified. LTRS are open to anyone from the SSW or the greater UMB campus.
The first LTRS of this academic year is titled “Creating and using research in our work: How recently promoted SSW faculty weave research into the work they lead", and will feature seven recently promoted faculty who will talk about research they are leading and using to inform their work. Dr. Jodi Frey, Associate Dean for Research will moderate the session. Speakers include Dr. Nalini Negi, Dr. Lynn Michalopolous, Dr. Christabel Cheung, Dr. Wendy Shaia, Dr. Nadine Finigan-Carr, Laura Loessner, and Adam Schneider.
