About Jeiri Flores

Flores is a Puerto Rican disability rights activist from Rochester, N.Y. She earned her bachelor's degree in the study of sociology and African-American Studies at SUNY Brockport in 2014 and her master's in the study of human development at the University of Rochester in 2023. Flores serves as a resource for community residents by connecting them to existing services and supports.

As a disability advocate, Flores shares her unique perspective at various colleges and conferences, introducing attendees to the struggles and invisibility that people with disabilities face. She provides insight regarding inclusion, citizenship, disability intersectionality, and challenges that remain unaddressed by society.
