In a joint venture with Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. (BGE), Parking and Transportation Services has increased UMB's sustainability efforts with the installation of new charging stations on Koester's Lot.
The six dual-port electric vehicle charging units are owned, operated, and maintained by BGE. Each unit is equipped with a QR code for registration and fee collection. Though a permit is not required for charging, all vehicles must be removed from the lot after charging is complete.
