Jan. 22: Pop-Up Meditation

Research has shown that mindfulness meditation can help with stress, depression, anxiety, sleep, studying, and pain. Students are invited to meditate or relax at their own pace under a simulation of stars and aurora while the Student Counseling Center (SCC) provides a meditation space for an hour at noon Jan. 22.
Students are encouraged to meditate for however little or much they would like; a 10-minute guided meditation will be facilitated by SCC staff beginning at 12:10 p.m. then again at 12:30 p.m.
