Due to temperatures of over 100 degrees, UMB’s EMBRACE Initiative was inside Lexington Market in the Baltimore Room on Tuesday, July 16, to Thursday, July 18, in Week 2 of its Family Summer Fun on Eutaw event, which runs through Aug. 22.
All week, we had DJ Romey Rome, a 15-year-old graduate of our community partner, HeartSmiles. DJ Romey Rome played music for everyone. Check out Heartsmiles’ phenomenal programs.
On Tuesday, we were excited to haven balloon animals with Balloons by Brenda. Check out all of Brenda’s balloon services.
On Tuesday and Thursday, we had UMB Police and Public Safety’s favorite comfort K9, Poe, who brought a smile to many faces.
On Thursday, we had a dance performance by Media Rhythm Institute Studios. See more information about Media Rhythm Institute Studios.
Please learn, and build partnership, with the Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Family Summer Fun on Eutaw. It will share information about resources to help achieve and maintain homeownership as well as provide information on educational resources, specialized financial programs, and support systems for Baltimore households.
We also had fun and games like cornhole, hopscotch, and giant checkers.
