You have the option of choosing one or both sessions during this Professional Development Day. Lunch will be served for both sessions from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Morning Session – Pathways to Allyship: A Case Study Workshop

Afternoon Session – The Characteristics of the First-Generation Student

UMSON, Room 211 and Online
This session explores the unique experiences and challenges faced by this student demographic. Gain insights, strategies, and resources to better support and empower within academic and professional environments. This will be a hybrid session. Our speaker, Michael L. Jones, associate dean for culture, engagement, and professional development at East Carolina University College of Nursing, will be joining us virtually.
