Call for Proposals

The Prevention of Adolescent Risks Initiative at the University of Maryland School of Social Work is excited to host their 7th annual Maryland Child Trafficking Awareness Conference on June 27, 2024, at Towson University.

We are seeking workshop and poster proposals that address the intricate complexities and vulnerabilities that contribute to child trafficking as well as innovative responses to this crime. We are looking for topics exploring how various factors such as homelessness, substance abuse, migration, or LGBTQ+ identity intersect and increase the risk of trafficking. We are also interested in presentations that highlight holistic approaches to addressing these complex vulnerabilities and preventing exploitation.

If you are interested in presenting at the Conference, please submit your proposal(s) at https://bit.ly/MDTraffick2024. Completed proposals must be received by February 2, 2024, for consideration.
