Faculty, staff, and alumni from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP) received several awards during the 2024 Maryland Pharmacists Association’s (MPhA) annual awards ceremony in Ocean City, Md., in June.

Cherokee Layson-Wolf, PharmD, BCACP, FAPhA, professor in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR), received the Pharmacist Advocate Award, and Amy Howard, PharmD, MS, a pediatric clinical pharmacist and clinical assistant professor in P-SHOR, received the Excellence in Innovation Award.
