UMB’s annual employee giving campaign — Proud to Work Here, Proud to Give Here — is celebrating its sixth anniversary!
Since the campaign’s start during the 2018-2019 academic year, employees have made significant impact in the areas of student scholarships and endowments, professorships, research activities, public service projects, institutional programs, and school-based greatest need support. Proud to Work Here, Proud to Give Here 2023-2024 set an ambitious participation goal of 10 percent for this annual campaign year (July 1 to June 30).
To date, close to 600 proud faculty and staff have made their annual gift, and our current participation rate is 8 percent.
There is still time to participate! Your gift — no matter the size or fund — counts! Participation in this Universitywide fundraising effort is easy and secure.
Faculty and staff can participate by selecting one of the following options:
1. Make a one-time or recurring credit card gift via our secure giving site.
2. Make a one-time gift using your digital wallet (University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Inc., now accepts PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay) via our secure giving site.
3. Set up a recurring donation of any size through payroll deduction via the University System of Maryland’s payroll deduction portal.
