The MSW L.E.A.D. Institute Registration is open.

This spring, the School of Social Work's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) is recruiting current MSW students for the MSW Leading for Equity, Anti-Racism, and Diversity (L.E.A.D.) Virtual Institute.

The L.E.A.D. Institute is a training and coaching series offered by the SSW's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Participants complete modules designed to increase their understanding of their individual bias, learn about systemic oppression, and create concrete action steps to make a change.

The MSW L.E.A.D. Institute was originally piloted in spring 2023 and was for MSW students who were interested in improving their anti-racist and anti-oppressive social work practice, learning how to navigate challenging conversations with clients, colleagues, and supervisors, working in DEI capacities, and making systemic change within organizations and institutions.

Registration Deadline: Feb. 16, 2024, at 12 p.m.
