Pinkwashing is a practice both public and private organizations use to demonstrate their commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
While some believe that it increases representation and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community, others argue that it profits off of the Pride movement and does little to change the social inequities LGBTQ+ people experience.
