Domonic Rollins and Diane Forbes Berthoud

The University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion will be hosting a series of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) workshops open to all UMB faculty and staff.

Led by Domonic Rollins, PhD, president of Rollins Consulting, the first workshop will focus on highlighting the status of EDI at UMB with Diane Forbes Berthoud, PhD, MA, UMB's chief equity, diversity, and inclusion officer and vice president.

During our time together, we will review the vision, major pillars, and desired outcomes for EDI at UMB; detail the educational offerings for people managers and individual contributors with a focus on the need for more capacity among all employees; and outline tools that will be featured as cornerstones of upcoming workshops. We welcome any UMB employee to join us as we offer a space to kick off and share progress on UMB’s EDI work as it unfolds.

Register here for the kickoff event, which will be held from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 26 in SMC Campus Center Elm Room A.

Lunch will be provided.
