Hershaw Davis Jr., DNP, MBA, BSN ’09, RN, assistant professor, appears in Care Flows Both Ways, a campaign of the Maryland Patient Safety Center, funded by the State of Maryland, and developed with the Maryland Hospital Association.
The campaign encourages patients, families, and health care workers to embrace kindness and mutual respect to reduce workplace violence and support the well-being of those who care for us. The ultimate goal: safe spaces for health care workers.
"Violence is never the answer. We are all trying to do our best, and we just ask that you give us the same patience, the same tolerance that you would give anybody," Davis says in a campaign video.
He appears on the website and on billboards in the area.
