Christina Cooper: Why I Am Proud to Work Here, Proud to Give Here
March 17, 2025“I have been on staff here at UMB for 16 years now and have spent the last nine years working in the School of Medicine's Department of Neurology. I am proud to work here, proud to give here because I have grown so much professionally and personally due to the programs and opportunities UMB offers to its students, staff, and faculty members.
"This motivates me to give back and to help others grow both professionally and personally. I feel that I have made a true difference here by contributing and helping to develop new programs to improve the quality of life for the patients and families that we serve. It has been a privilege and blessing to me to be a part of the UMB community. I will continue to give and spread kindness every chance I get.”
— Christina M. Cooper, MS, CCRP, program director, Department of Neurology, University of Maryland Movement and Memory Disorders Center
Proud to Work Here, Proud to Give Here is a participation-based campaign, meaning every gift — no matter the size — makes a substantial difference in our collective work and brings new opportunities to our students, programs, research, and scholarship at UMB.
