Join the School of Social Work's Office of Access, Strategic Initiatives & Support (O.A.S.I.S.) for a Legal Literacy Teach-In focused on navigating times of heightened law enforcement or military presence in our communities. This session will provide practical strategies for identifying rights violations, supporting neighbors, and advocating effectively.

About the Session:
  • Know your rights and understand proper protocols and policies when it comes to navigating increased law enforcement and military activity in your area.
  • Gain practical tools to recognize rights violations and support affected individuals and communities.
  • Explore the psychological and ethical dimensions of enforcement encounters through a trauma-informed lens.
