Diversity Advisory Council Nominations Due June 27
June 09, 2025Do you know someone who would like to partner with others to advise and provide comprehensive feedback to the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) chief diversity officer/vice president on University goals and initiatives?
Members of the UMB community can nominate themselves or someone else to serve on the Diversity Advisory Council using this online form. The purpose of the Diversity Advisory Council is to advise and provide comprehensive feedback to the UMB chief diversity officer/vice president on University goals, initiatives, and other priorities to foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice at UMB. Students, faculty, and staff from UMB schools and administrative areas will serve alongside access and engagement leaders, alumni, community partners, and representatives from shared governance bodies and affinity groups.
The work of the DAC supports increased awareness about nondiscrimination (UMB Notice of Nondiscrimination (UMB Policy VI-1.00(C)). Nominations are due June 27, 2025.
