The Maryland Journal of International Law, in collaboration with the University of Maryland, Baltimore Center for Global Engagement and the Law & Health Care Program at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, is hosting a panel discussion, "Towards Transformation in Global Health," at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 27 at 11:30 a.m. online and in person at 500 W. Baltimore St., Krongard Boardroom.

This critical discussion will consider how ongoing reform efforts in global health can be structured to address health inequalities, including inequities in the medicines system worldwide. Panelists will consider topics like the transformational potential of the amendments to the International Health Regulations of 2005, efforts to draft an international treaty for pandemic preparedness, and beyond. This important conversation will serve as a catalyst for analyzing and reimagining the role of global health.
