The Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health is conducting a research study to assess an investigational drug to see if it can protect against symptoms or complications from viral respiratory illness. If you share a room with one or more people or live or work with children and meet other study criteria, you may be eligible to participate.

Consider participating in The POSITS Study, evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational drug in reducing the severity of symptoms from respiratory illnesses such as cold or flu. People working at a child care center or living with children age 10 or younger attending school or day care may be eligible to participate.

You could be eligible to take part in this viral respiratory illness study for healthy volunteers ages 18 to 45 years old who could be at risk of catching a cold or flu due to living or working in a crowded place. Compensation is up to $1,150.
