Call for IRB Members

The UMB IRB is seeking new membership. Both scientific and nonscientific members are needed, including representation from the West Baltimore community. Prior IRB experience is not necessary. Full orientation and training will be provided.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining UMB’s IRB, please email HRPO@umaryland.edu with the subject “IRB Volunteer.”

CITI Training and CICERO

To streamline the protocol review process, the HRPO requests that research community members link their CITI training records to CICERO.

This can be accomplished by ensuring the following:

  • You are registered in CITI and CICERO using the same UMB email address
  • You have completed your training(s) under the UMB institutional courses on the CITI website

If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the HRPO.

Are You Leaving UMB?
