Innovation @UMB | Developing Medical Devices for Manufacturing

Are you ready to take your medical device ideas from concept to market? Whether you’re ready to build a next-gen prototype or are just fostering an idea, this seminar is designed to inspire and equip you with the tools you need to succeed.

Todd Murphy from Root3 Labs, a device engineering and product development company in the Baltimore area, will join us at 2 p.m. March 12 to share his expertise on kick-starting innovation — from initial benchwork to successful market launch. Drawing on his background in surgical skill evaluation, haptics, and robotics, Murphy supports clients across a range of industries and stages of development. He is also an adjunct instructor for a multidisciplinary engineering course teaching prototyping methods at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and advises student teams and startups across several programs at JHU.
