April 09, 2025CIPP603-Interprofessional Disability Care
Join us in the fall 2025 semester to improve health care disparities through teamwork, innovation, and the lived experiences of people with disabilities, and learn how interprofessional collaboration can change the future of disability-inclusive health care.
CIPP603-Interprofessional Disability Care is a new graduate-level elective course that brings students together from the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work, to examine collaborative, person-centered approaches to supporting people with disabilities throughout their health care experiences. Through interprofessional learning and interactive discussions and activities, students will deepen their understanding of disability-competent care and shared decision-making.
In this asynchronous course, students will work together to recognize real-world challenges and explore how their unique disciplinary strengths contribute to inclusive healthcare practice and policy.
CIPP603-Interprofessional Disability Care is a 3-credit graduate-level elective course offered online, asynchronously. Register today! It is open to students in the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work.
