Start the New Year Strong: Mentoring and Writing Groups Now Forming
December 12, 2025
Would structured guidance, a supportive community, and dedicated time help you stay focused and move your research forward next spring? The Center for Advanced Research Training & Innovation (CARTI) is offering two peer-based programs designed to help early-stage faculty stay focused, accountable, and connected.
Peer Mentoring Groups for Faculty
This program is designed to support UMB research faculty in achieving professional milestones, enhancing project management, and building a strong research community. Seventy-five percent of past participants improved their ability to create goals, found that the group assisted them in overcoming obstacles, and felt closer to accomplishing their academic career goals.
Groups will meet via Zoom twice a month for one hour between the weeks of Jan. 26 and March 23 (five sessions total).
