University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) faculty are invited to participate in the UMB Baltimore Heritage Tour: People and Place-Based Pedagogy. Designed for faculty in academic health, law, and social work, this experiential opportunity aims to connect historical knowledge of landmarks, people, and communities with the broader educational experience. 

The UMB Baltimore Heritage Tour: People and Place-Based Pedagogy will provide valuable insights for teaching, learning, and curriculum development. The experience aims to advance UMB’s mission through a collaborative learning environment by exploring innovative ways to enrich teaching with equity-focused, community-engaged, and historically grounded perspectives.
