Naloxone kit contents

The interprofessional Workplace PROSPER team (School of Medicine and School of Social Work) is continuing its work to get lifesaving naloxone into the hands of at-risk Maryland workers.

In 2024, our workplace-facing Overdose Response Program got almost 6000 naloxone kits to construction workers, who have a high opioid overdose rate. In 2025, we are continuing this work but expanding to include workers in other at-risk industries.

We need volunteers to help us pack the naloxone kits with other essentials for rescue. There are multiple dates available, and you can sign up here.

Volunteer hour documentation can be provided.
