Party Foul

The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) has created a public service announcement (PSA) to dissuade young people from congregating and increasing their risk of contracting COVID-19.

A “party foul” is generally defined as an act or instance of unpleasant or unacceptable behavior at a party or other social gathering, but the PSA says there’s a new definition in the age of the coronavirus:

“Contract COVID-19 at a party or at a bar, well, that’s a serious party foul. Don’t forget to wear masks and practice social distancing. Even when you’re trying to be social, no age group is immune from COVID-19.”
