Dr. Michael Rosen, PhD

"Science of Teams and Community-Based Participatory Research: Practical Strategies for Managing Teams Towards Engaged Research," a University of Maryland, Baltimore  Insitute for Clinical Translational Research (ICTR) enrichment seminar, will introduce the high-impact research being done increasingly by teams, working across disciplinary and organizational boundaries to integrate diverse perspectives and expertise. However, managing these teams and building strong relationships between partners is challenging. This talk presents frameworks and tools for using the science of teams to inform your approach to building and managing effective research collaborations. Principles and tools will be introduced and analyzed in interactive case discussions.
