In this course, you will learn how to facilitate behavior change with clients/patients in a variety of settings. The more we understand the change process, the more we can promote healthy decision-making. Develop attitudes and skills to engage clients’ inherent motivation for change.
This course is one of four required courses for our NEW Certificate in Substance Use and Addictions Nursing, launching fall 2021. This course can satisfy an elective requirement for your degree program as well as a core course requirement for the certificate.
