Just Announced! On Dec. 7 - 9, 2020, AACN will host a virtual Fall Faculty Forum with sessions focused on a variety of topics related to AACN’s work on re-envisioning the Essentials. This event, themed Exploring Disruption and Innovation in Nursing Education, will feature a variety of provocative sessions on topics of great interest to today’s nurse educator, including competency-based education, professional identity formation, navigating disruptive innovation, leveraging data and technology, teaching population health, and preparing the nursing workforce of the future.
The Fall Faculty Forum offers a unique opportunity for faculty to help facilitate the transition to the new AACN Essentials.
Abstract Submission Deadline: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 11:59 p.m. (ET).
AACN is currently seeking faculty to submit abstracts for the 2020 Fall Faculty Forum. Abstracts should describe programs, courses, initiatives, or evaluation strategies that characterize the conference theme, Exploring Disruption and Innovation in Nursing Education. Abstracts that reflect innovation and highlight the particular topics of interest below are welcome.
