American Nurses Association (ANA) Hill Day

American Nurses Association (ANA) is hosting its annual day of visits to Capitol Hill. ANA Hill Day is a unique opportunity for students to meet with their members of Congress and to share their perspectives on the most pressing issues facing the nursing profession. ANA Hill Day will include speaking with representatives, senators, and their staff on issues and legislation that include:
- Combating workplace violence against nurses and other health care workers
- The importance of Title VIII nursing education and workforce development funding
- The need for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to provide home health care in an efficient and timely manner.
