April 2: Online Teaching Community of Practice

We are a group of UMB faculty and staff who teach online or who want to learn how to do so. We created this informal online community to support one another in our online teaching and to share best practices, tips, and tools.
We meet monthly using Webex to discuss topics such as, how to increase student engagement in the online classroom, how to effectively use video as a teaching and social tool, how to use a flipped classroom model in online teaching, and so much more.
Each meeting, we have a time of open, informal discussion, followed by a speaker who presents on a practical topic related to online teaching. Bring your questions and any tips and resources you have gathered along the way.
