Baltimore Center Stage - Where We Stand

Baltimore Center Stage is bringing its content online during the COVID-19 pandemic. The theater’s latest production, Where We Stand, is available to stream from the comfort of your home. This production runs until April 26. Go to this link for tickets and information on how to access the play.

Where We Stand was specifically designed to generate community conversations. In addition to the virtual performance, Baltimore Center Stage is providing at-home facilitation guides, an exclusive recorded conversation with the playwright/performer, and other supplemental resources to engage the community in thought-provoking discussions.

The theater also is launching two virtual programs:

Play at Home: Baltimore Center Stage has partnered with theaters from around the country on Play at Home, a national initiative to commission writers to pen short plays meant to be read aloud (or alone) and enjoyed in your living rooms and/or Zoom teleconference rooms. Each play is available to download and enjoy for free and is designed for you, your families, and your friends.

Camp at Home: First up in this Baltimore Center Stage series is Stories Make the World, an interactive at-home storytelling curriculum specially designed for storytellers in first through sixth grade. Stories Make the World features eight weeks of exploration and imagination, culminating in the creation of a story. The activities are simple to follow and easy to share, and the theater hopes they inspire you to share your memories and stories as you support young storyteller in crafting theirs.

Students, faculty, and staff, let your voice be heard!
