Baltimore City Public Schools is hiring paid academic mentors who will: 
  • Receive training from Baltimore City Public Schools on using the online ELA and math platforms, understanding students’ academic needs, analyzing student data, supporting students socio-emotionally, and being grounded in equity. 
  • Be compensated $30/hour and are expected to work about six hours a week (with 10 to 15 hours of training). 
  • Be trained during the week of July 27 and will meet their students Friday, July 31 during a socially distanced in-person meeting. 
  • The program will then run from Aug. 3-28 with potential to continue in the fall.
