VA Learning Program Opportunity Residency (BSN Students)

The Veterans Affairs Learning Program Opportunity Residency (VALOR) program provides a wonderful paid opportunity for BSN students to develop competencies in clinical nursing over the summer and during their senior year. Opportunities for learning include classroom experiences, competency based clinical practice with a qualified RN preceptor, and participation in nursing-focused clinical conferences. VALOR participants may be appointed above the beginning salary rate when employed as an RN following graduation.

VA Maryland Health Care System, Student Nurse Technician GS-4

The Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System is hiring Student Nurse Technicians (SNT) to work under the direct supervision of an RN and coordinate patient care. The SNT will provide direct nursing care to patients/residents in a variety of health care settings.
