February 24: New to Practice virtual interview day. Expected May 2021 grads will not want to miss this event, especially if they are wanting to consider coming onboard Early Exit into a Graduate Nurse role before they are licensed. Pay rate for Graduate Nurse is $31.50
March 10: Nurse Extern virtual interview day for the June 7th cohort start date. We must have everyone hired by the end of April, so it’s most important students engage and apply early. This will be a 6 week long, full time hours worked program, with an 1 hour class each week on different topics. The pay rate is $17.00 and students can stay on after the summer in a part time capacity.

Applications are now open for the Community Healthcare Network Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program. A great opportunity for recent NP graduates to train and develop skills in a community health setting. This paid Fellowship consists of didactic training, independent practice, patient care with supervision of a preceptor, and specialty rotations such as Women’s Health, Pediatrics, HIV and Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry and more.

Sherwood Forest Summer Camp Nursing Assistants, 3rd and 4th year students
Sherwood Forest is a non-profit residential summer camp program serving kids in need from the Greater St. Louis region. Currently recruiting 3rd and 4th year nursing students interested in being a Nursing Assistant for Summer 2021. Nursing Assistants work with the Head Nurse (RN or CNP) to ensure the proper care and treatment of all illnesses and injuries that occur at camp during the summer. Nursing Assistants will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Registered Nurse or Certified Nurse Practitioner, gaining hands on experience assessing and treating minor illnesses and injuries, in addition to supporting a safe and healthy camp environment.

LeadingAge Paid Summer Internships in Aging Services, Undergraduate and Graduate Students
The Summer Enrichment Program is a 10-week immersive internship hosted by LeadingAge member organizations in 2021. We are recruiting a diverse pool of undergraduate and graduate students for a unique opportunity to obtain real world experience in aging services. Interns will be provided mentors, meaningful work, and access to a professional network that will provide access to leadership roles within the field of aging.
