MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a part-time (24 hrs a week) Professional Development Specialist. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for students who are finishing their doctorate degrees. This role facilitates nursing Research, QI & EBP initiatives at MedStar Franklin Square by advising and coaching nursing at all levels through every stage of the Research, QI & EBP process (from planning, implementation to dissemination). There are many opportunities to facilitate these initiatives at the MedStar System level as well. The role is required to sit on MedStar Health's Institutional Review Board as a voting Nursing member and to teach/ coach new-to-practice nurses with EBP initiatives required for completion of the NRP.
