SARS-CoV2 virus

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Diagnostic Radiology, is conducting a study to evaluate the long-term effect of COVID-19 on the brain using cognitive assessments and brain MRI scans.

Who can join?

  • Age 18-75 years old
  • Have either a documented history of COVID-19 infection (at least six weeks ago) OR no history of COVID-19 infection
  • Speak English
  • Able to complete MRI brain scan
  • Meet other study criteria

What procedures will be done?

  • A screening visit
  • Blood tests, answer questions and complete tests to evaluate your brain function, a brain MRI scan, and a spinal tap (optional)

Health Sciences Research Facility III, 670 W. Baltimore St., Baltimore, MD 21201

Compensation

Participants will be compensated up to $200 for their time (for completing all procedures).
