- On the UMSON Employee COVID-19 Vaccination, Testing, and SAFE Screening Requirements page, the following information has been updated:
SAFE on Campus Screening Requirements
Starting Monday, June 14, if UMB has confirmation that you are fully vaccinated, you will no longer receive the SAFE on Campus daily symptom monitoring emails 14 days after your final dose.
If you physically access either the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) or the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) locations and 14 days have not passed since your final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine:
- Complete SAFE on Campus screening 7 days a week.
- If accessing USG prior to July 5, complete the Request for Access to USG Location form a minimum of two business days prior to your arrival and receive email approval.
Employees coming to campus solely for medical appointments do not need to use SAFE on Campus.
All UMSON community members are expected to check their umaryland.edu email and review the UMSON COVID-19 Response and UMB Recovery webpages daily for updates, which are occurring regularly.
