2021 Call for EBP Grant Proposals

The Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare is extending the deadline to submit your application for two grant opportunities to stimulate and advance evidence-based practice (EBP) or implementation science in nursing and healthcare across the United States.
Category 1:
EVIDENCE-BASED QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROPOSALS
- Proposals focused on the application of evidence to improve healthcare practice quality and safety using the evidence-based practice process
- Requires a DNP-prepared nurse or a student currently pursuing a DNP to lead an interprofessional team initiative
- Must include at least one team member from another healthcare discipline
- Up to four proposals will be selected for funding of up to $2,500 each
Category 2:
RESEARCH PROPOSALS
- Proposals that stimulate science related to EBP and implementation of evidence into practice
- Requires a PhD-prepared nurse or a student currently pursuing a PhD to lead the project
- Must include at least one team member from another healthcare discipline
- Two proposals will be selected for up to $5,000 each
Submission Instructions:
- Complete the online application form to determine eligibility
- If eligible, you will receive detailed instructions on proposal requirements
- Submit your complete proposal including all required sections by 11:59 p.m. EST on March 15, 2021

- Monday, March 15, 2021: Application Deadline. Applications due by 11:59 p.m. EST
- Monday, May 3, 2021: Notification of grant awardees and funding begins
