The International Law Society at the Francis King Carey School of Law will host a discussion of the current coronavirus situation. The ongoing coronavirus outbreak is causing a global health emergency. Further, public health responses, such as mandatory quarantines, create possible tensions with human rights, such as the freedom of movement.

The speakers below will bring their expertise to discuss the current state of affairs with coronavirus, the United States’ response, and the ways countries can prepare for this type of situation:
