Are you a Baltimore City or Baltimore County resident? Do you love trees? Help the city and county increase their tree canopy!

Blue Water Baltimore has partnered with the Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability, TreeBaltimore, the Department of Public Works (DPW) and Stillmeadow Community Fellowship to offer county and city residents up to three native trees for free to plant in your front or back yard.

This event takes place Oct. 23, 2021 from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. Pickup will be at the Stillmeadow Community Fellowship. Pre-registration is not required, but recommended. Trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who did not pre-register.

The pre-registration form to sign up for a free tree will be posted on Blue Water Baltimore's event page on Oct. 9, two weeks before the event. Be sure to select the right tree(s) for your yard by reviewing the available species for fall 2021 on the group's blog beforehand here. If you are a resident of Baltimore City and would like to request a new street tree, use this form instead.

Blue Water Baltimore is also looking for volunteers for this event.
