October 04, 2021Interprofessional Education (IPE) Funding Opportunity: Health Equity Grant Announcement
2022-2023 Health Equity Seed Grant Criteria and Application
The Center for Interprofessional Education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is pleased to announce an opportunity for a $25,000 grant for a 13-month interprofessional education (IPE) and interprofessional collaboration (IPC) project that is focused on team-based care. As noted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the root causes of health inequities in the United States are strongly linked to structural and systemic racism and other forms of oppression.
Proposals should be practice- or classroom-focused, with educational and evaluative components employing the IPEC Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice.
Grant funds up to $15,000 may be used toward salary/benefit support or stipend, assuming approval from the individual’s supervisor in their primary UMB school.

Applications are due by Feb. 23, 2022, via email to Reetta Gach with "Health Equity Grant Application" in the subject line.
