Students Today, Leaders Tomorrow | GNSA logo

AACN's Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA) offers a variety of leadership development opportunities for your students in master's and doctoral programs. Through these activities, students are able to develop as future nursing leaders that will shape health and healthcare delivery.

CALL FOR GNSA LIAISONS
These students should demonstrate strong leadership potential and an interest in introducing GNSA initiatives and resources to their peers. GNSA Liaisons are essential to linking the student body to all of the resources and services that are available for free through the GNSA. As a Liaison, students have the opportunity to:
•    Engage directly with AACN and members of the GNSA Leadership Council
•    Participate in biannual town hall calls with other GNSA Liaisons nationwide
•    Develop leadership and networking skills
•    Be the first to know of and take part in new GNSA resources and initiatives
Interested students should complete this form.

Multiple students may volunteer to be GNSA Liaisons. We encourage students from different programs to sign up to vary GNSA representation at your school.

GNSA DIGITAL INNOVATORS PROGRAM
The GNSA Digital Innovators program is a unique opportunity for students who are interested in teaching and want to develop a skillset that will help elevate their teaching. This program focuses on modern approaches and creative methods to educating the future nursing workforce through technology. Using a team-based approach, the program is open to 15 student pairs (30 individuals total) with content delivered by Apple Education's leadership and learning teams.

To be eligible, team members must be interested in teaching, be current GNSA members, and receive a letter of support from their nursing school dean/director. Teams will consist of two graduate students and should submit one application. Learn more about this program.
