As the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) continues to strengthen our identity, we have again contracted with Edge Research to conduct a market survey about the UMB brand. Your role in this important initiative is paramount.
Many of you will remember similar surveys in 2012 and 2016. From those findings, new campus signage, the Champions of Excellence campaigns, The Elm/Elm Weekly, and Community Campus and new Community Engagement Center marketing initiatives emerged.
Edge Research is gathering new data, externally and internally, on UMB's sense of identity and brand so we can compare it to the data from the 2012 and 2016 surveys. This new information will help inform and shape UMB's branding strategy for years to come.
