Come kick off the holidays with our neighbors in Union Square! There are two events coming up in the neighborhood ahead of the holiday season:
Union Square Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, Dec. 6
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Union Square Park, 1500 block of W. Hollins St., Baltimore
This neighborhood tree lighting in Union Square Park will include hot cocoa, mulled wine, and appearances from Santa.
34th Annual Union Square ‘Cookie Tour’ of Historic Homes
Sunday, Dec. 8
Noon to 4 p.m.
Maryland Library Association, 1401 Hollins St.
Organized by the Union Square Association, this 34-year-old neighborhood cookie competition welcomes nearly 500 visitors each year from the Baltimore-Washington region. Tickets can be purchased in advance here for $15 for a group of four or more, or $18 for an individual. Tickets will be $25 at the door.
