Interested in advancing your clinical skills through an interprofessional patient case? Sign up for the 2019 Interprofessional Patient Management Competition (IPMC). 

IPMC is an annual event held by the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP) chapter. This event is focused on promoting interprofessional collaboration among professional students across all University of Maryland, Baltimore schools. The event dates and logistics are as follows:

• Written round: Tuesday, April 9 (5 p.m.-8 p.m.)
• Oral round: Tuesday, April 16 (5 p.m.-8 p.m.)

Teams will consist of one student from each professional school on campus. Each team will be given two hours to collectively determine and work up a patient case during the written round. The written cases will be graded and scored by a faculty judge panel. The top three teams will advance to the oral presentation round, where each team will be required to provide a 10-minute presentation to an interprofessional faculty judge panel. The top two teams will receive monetary prizes.
