“Pipeline: An Essential Conversation”
June 19, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Virtual Event

If you want to change the fact that each year in the United States, 150,000 Black and Brown children — disproportionately children with disabilities — are handcuffed, restrained, referred to law enforcement, and arrested in schools across the nation, then please save June 19, 1 to 2:30 p.m., for a virtual conversation hosted by the School of Social Work’s Promise Heights.

This “From the Heights” panel discussion includes: TBA: a featured Pipeline actor; Bronwyn Mayden, Executive Director of Promise Heights and host of the “From the Heights” Virtual Events; and TBA: another featured guest. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Kaye Wise-Whitehead, Author, Educator, and Host of WEAA/88.9FM’s “Today with Dr. Kaye” show.

To learn more and how to join this special Juneteenth “From the Heights” virtual conversation as well as how to view Everyman Theatre’s stream of this current production, visit promiseheights.org/blog/2021/pipeline-an-essential-conversation

Funding for the “From the Heights” virtual conversation series hosted by Promise Heights is provided by the Annie E. Casey Foundation and Kaiser Permanente.
