If you are interested in this opportunity to address your class and invited guests, please submit a 5-minute video file of you delivering your speech to studentservices@ssw.umaryland.edu by March 29 at 11:59 p.m.

The topic for the speech is based on the NASW theme for 2019: Elevate Social Work.

The way you approach this topic is totally your own. You can record your speech on your own or you can arrange a time with SSW Media Center (fourth floor) to record there. Please not that you need to provide advance notice and make arrangements with Branden Green at bgreen@ssw.umaryland.edu or Tom Mitchell at tmitchell@ssw.umaryland.edu.

Your speech will be shown to the student committee members at the final convocation committee meeting. If chosen, Dr. Debbie Gioia, assistant dean of student services (dgioia@ssw.umaryland.edu), will use the feedback from the committee to tailor your final version.
