As we return to campus, please remember to take advantage of these current discounts. Lyft On-Demand Shuttle at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) offers a discount to current University students, faculty, and staff while the UMB shuttle is on hiatus. (UMB shuttle service will resume Aug. 2, 2021.)
Lyft On-Demand Shuttle offers up to $10 off per ride for a maximum of 24 rides per month, on Standard Lyft rides only. The hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday. Rides must start and end at a designated UMB shuttle stop. Additionally, the UMB Police Department has resumed the Safe Ride program from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Running 24/7, the Lyft Ride Smart at UMB program offers $5 off up to three rides per month, which is valid on Standard Lyft rides only. Rides must start and end within the program service area.

There is a limited amount of funding available for these programs, and if the number of participants or usage exceed the estimated numbers, the programs will end. You will be notified about any changes in the programs if they arise.
